Earthquake Preparedness

The big Cascadia Earthquake is overdue.  Do you have a plan?

During the last 10,000 years, there have been 41 major earthquakes in the Cascadia Subduction Zone.  That is an average of one per 244 years.  About half of those were of magnitude 9.0 or higher.

The most recent one was in the year 1700.  That means that there is over 300 years of strain ready to rupture, causing an earthquake that could last more than five minutes!

Take steps to prepare yourself and your family for a castastrophe.  Earthquakes aren't covered by most home and business property insurance policies.  Please call our agents at 253-581-1500 to get your home or business insured.
